The History of Unni Sadan
Unni Sadan was begun many years ago in the vision of its founder, Johnson Oliappuram(Jagdish). The physical manifestation began in early spring 2007, with the purchase of 11acres of paddy fields, coffee plantation, coconut and palm trees. Already on the land is a 55 year-old small villa in dire need of repair. The principles that created the successful Ramana’s Garden (www.sayyesnow.org) that Jagdish co-founded in North India serves as the inspiration behind Unni Sadan. The co-founding members of Unni Sadan are Mohanan Punnelil from South India and Siddhartha Sundaram from Los Angeles.
