Many children especially the aboriginal in South India still live in abject poverty, The aboriginals are considered the most destitute and the least educated ethnic group in the State of Kerala .They are starved for proper education, healthy diet and moral foundation. With this environment, they face higher unemployment, poor health and low self esteem. Unni Sadan, an international non-profit in South-India, was born on 28th March 2007 as a response to the cries of these children and their families in dire need.

Our approach is informal, intimate and non-violent and embraces the uniqueness and needs of each while respecting the best of local customs and traditions.

All children at Unni Sadan will have obtained highly valued life-skills and education by the time they graduate. These accomplishments will guarantee them dignified employment to support themselves and their families.

They, in turn, become of hope for generations to come.
